Medical Training Therapy is an equipment-supported form of training for strength, endurance, coordination and movement under medical supervision. The objective of Medical Training Therapy (MTT) is to regain and stabilise a person’s physical capabilities. Along with improving functional stability, this approach can improve the general and special performance and load-bearing capacity. Medical Training Therapy is put into use in order to prevent chronic spinal column and joint diseases and in the framework of medically-supervised fitness training as well as medically-supervised weight- loss measures.
INIDCATION / DISEASE PROFILE:
- Muscle building in neurological and orthopaedic rehabilitation
- Muscle building in the posttreatment of chronic pain syndrome and tensions in the spinal column
- Stabilising joint musculature (arthrosis, gait problems)
- Osteoporosis
- Prevention of chronic spinal column diseases
- Chronic fatigue syndrome, vascular diseases (high blood pressure) and obesity
