Sankt Lukas provides out-patient neuro-rehabilitation for children. You will find a comprehensive range of rehabilitative services for the consolidation of the progress made during in-patient rehabilitation and integration of the affected children and their families back into everyday life, without the psychological burden of an in-patient stay. Here your child can benefit from the whole range of treatment options provided by our affiliated doctors and therapists without having to forego the comfort of the familiar home environment. Movement and activity are decisive basic factors for children with cerebral movement disorders (movement disorders whose cause lies in early childhood brain damage). The objective of our therapy is to restore compromised bodily, mental or emotional functions. We help treat motor disorders such as spasticity, loss of strength and/or coordination disorders that have effects on posture, movement, gait and gripping functions. This also includes integration into family and school structures. In Haus Sankt Lukas we use the most modern robot-assisted treatment procedures along with classical forms of treatment. These include among other things:

• Gait training with the Lokomat
• Arm/hand training with ArmeoPediatric System 

These therapeutic measures are supplemented by an interdisciplinary range of treatment options in Haus Sankt Lukas (physiotherapy, ergo-therapy).
